Do you support streaming media?

Active Web Hosting does not offer a streaming server. If you would like to run your own radio station, or stream other media, you'll find that you may need to run a program from your own computer to stream media from your web site.

To stream video, you normally only have to put the video file on your web server (these files are not allowed on your CGI server), and put a link to the file on your web site. This is the simplest form of making your media available. Please be aware that we do have limits regarding how large your media files can be. If they are too large, this may slow your site down or take your site offline temporarily. Please see What do I do if my domain is restricted or taken offline? for more information.
